AMTI’s Testing and Inspection services are performed by a group of highly qualified professionals. Our professional engineers are registered and certified inspectors and technicians and are skilled in the areas of geotechnical and materials engineering.
Our laboratory is under technical supervision of registered professionals who stay current and up to date with all local construction codes and procedures. Our laboratory capabilities of reporting results range from concrete strength test to performing sophisticated research projects. We are certified with AMRL, CCRL and Corps of Engineers.
Our company provides its own quality assurance program for all material testing projects. We provide the evidence needed to confirm the quality is in place for each individual project.
AMTI offers a comprehensive range of geotechnical services. These are available to our clients throughout the phases of the project, from site selection and feasibility evaluation through planning, design and construction. Providing practical, innovative and cost effective professional expertise is our objective in addressing the geotechnical concerns and considerations of a project.
Assessment of geologic hazards such as land slides, fissures and faults, stability of bluffs, excavation characteristics of rock units, geological characteristics of subsurface conditions including down slope soil creep and subsidence. These studies are provided for both engineering projects and individual geological projects.
AMTI accomplishes site assessment surveys to identify and recognize environmental conditions in connection with the subject site. All assessments are conducted within ASTM guidelines and in full compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
Provides an exhaustive view of a piece of real property with regards to it past and present environmental conditions and property usage. This report is in an easily understandable format, which may include recommendations for further assessments.
This is a follow up to a Phase I report were potential liabilities may have been discovered. Consists of possible sampling of the on-site soil and water to screen for contaminants. Our extensive experience allows us to design a scope of work that minimizes costs but still provides enough data to make good business decisions before, during and after real estate transactions.
AMTI utilizes some of the industries most cutting edge technologies and methods to provide reliable geophysical analysis for various types of projects. Amongst these are engineering, environmental and geologic investigations.
This geophysical method is used for relatively shallow subsurface analysis. Active seismic energy is artificially created and propagated through the ground until refracted off subsurface layers and detected on the surface by an array or line of geophones.
Several applications include:
- Fault Investigations
- Fissure and Void Analysis
- Ripability Parameters
- Bed Rock and Overburden Thickness
- Locates Geologic Structures
- Evaluates Landfill Limits
- Evaluates Sand and Gravel Deposits
- Slope Stability
- Ground Water Depth
This method provides continuous two dimensional “2-D” image of subsurface, non-intrusive and environmentally friendly. Deployment is not limited by difficult or undulating terrain and is economical.
GPR incorporates the use of high-resolution antennae that allows for survey and analysis of thousands of square feet of surface area per day at depths up to 25 feet.
Real-time indications allow for immediate marking of sub-surface targets. GPR also allows for accurate depth information to minimize damage to critical subsurface elements.
GPR capabilities include 3-dimensional mapping of small or large sections to provide virtual models of areas of interest. Benefits of GPR are speed, safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
